A short release sent out yesterday has announced that Souris-Moose Mountain's MP Dr. Robert Kitchen will not be on the ballot during the next election.
In his release, he talked about the service he's put forward over the last ten years.
“It has been a great honour and privilege to serve the people of Southeast Saskatchewan as their Member of Parliament, and to represent them in Ottawa for the last decade,” stated Kitchen.
“I look forward to continuing on in my role as MP until the next federal election in 2025, and would like to thank the constituents of Souris – Moose Mountain who have shown me incredible support for the past 10 years,” concluded Kitchen.
The CPC candidate for the Souris-Moose Mountain MP will instead be decided from a group of nominees ahead of the 2025 election date.
