Daggett Street in Okotoks will be getting some work done this summer.

Starting on July 16th, crews will work on the Town's Daggett Street Parking Improvement Project along the CPKC railway.

The project is expected to be finished by the end of August, as long as the weather cooperates.

Construction at this site will include paving a parking area, installing fences, Electronic Vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, and landscaping.

While construction is underway, there will be a parking ban along Daggett Street, but an alternative parking area will be provided at the gravel lot on the south side of the train tracks.

The road will remain open during construction and delays are expected as only a single lane of alternating traffic will be available.

There will be crews, flaggers, signage, and equipment on site, so the Town is reminding people to use caution while in the area.
