The 18U AA Weyburn Angels added to the win column Monday night, as they picked up a big win on the road against the White Butte Broncos. The Angels would put up six runs in the first inning and didn’t look back as they went on to a 16-5 victory in five innings.

Noah Kopec and Owen Klein led the way with two hits each, while Cole Godlonton drove in three runs, and Asher Knox two as the Angels improved to 20-5 on the season. Kopec, Isaac Mackay, Chace Kradovill and Connor McIndoe all contributed RBIs in the win, with Kopec also stealing three bases.

On the mound, Camden Husband went the distance in the win. He threw 90 pitches in five innings of work, allowing two earned runs, five in total, and striking out five.

The Angels are back in action on Thursday when they travel to Regina to face the Pacers.
