LESLEE ROBYN GRIGG
With deeply broken hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Leslee “Robyn” Grigg of Moose Jaw, SK on Friday July 12th, 2024, at the age of 67 years. She was born to Karol (née: Sisson) and George Grigg on January 1st, 1957, in Moose Jaw.
Robyn received her education in Moose Jaw and attended the University of Saskatchewan, obtaining her Education Degree. In 2000, she completed her master’s degree from the San Diego State University and retired in 2015 from A. E. Peacock School.
One of the strongest passions in Robyn’s life was the love of travel. Her desire to experience new and interesting cultures and cuisines has taken her to numerous countries around the world. Her favorite destination was Thailand. Another passion was the family farm, which she became a part of in 1989. Robyn devoted a great deal of time to gardening, especially her flower gardens, and was always attempting to add a new iris to her collection.
Robyn enjoyed her retirement with summers shared between the farm and the cottage at Lumsden Beach, and winters in Mexico.
She was predeceased by her mother, Karol (1983) and father, George (2004). Robyn is survived by her husband, Al Wihlidal; sisters: Karlee Grigg (Grant-Paul; Scott and family) and Cheryl Grigg (Evan; Colin and family); brother, Jeff Grigg (Danielle; Allisha, Ryan and Leah and family); sister-in-law, Sherry Aitken (Allan; Jonathon, Justin, and Spencer and family); and stepmother, Margaret Grigg.
Thank you to the staff at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital for the care and compassion shown.
