The RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating and identifying an individual who stole a truck and debit card and led police on a pursuit.
On July 16th at 7:20 A.M. the suspect attended Petro Canada in Grenfell in a Black GMC Duramax with the Saskatchewan licence plate 237 LIQ, that was stolen from Virden, Manitoba yesterday.
The suspect purchased gift cards and fuel with a stolen Debit Card that was left in the truck.
The suspect returned to the Petro Canada at approximately 11:30 A.M. driving a white Ford Super Duty bearing the Manitoba licence plate CGY 088 (this plate is also stolen) and used the gift cards to purchase gas for the white truck.
RCMP were later involved in a brief pursuit with the suspect but had to cancel the pursuit for public safety reasons.
If you see this suspect or either of the stolen vehicles the RCMP ask the public to please not approach and call the RCMP immediately.
