The High River Flyers have been busy assembling their roster for the 2024-2025 HJHL season.

The Flyers recently announced that 6'4 goaltender Kashton Payne will return to the team after playing 20 regular season games last season and posting a .902 save percentage and a 3.36 goals-against average.

Payne stood tall and was a vital piece in the playoffs for the Flyers, playing in four games and putting up a 2.68 goals-against average.

Another player returning to the Flyers is Cody Steinert. The 6'3 defencemen suited up for three games with the Carstar Okotoks Bisons before heading to the Flyers.

Steinert played 14 games between the Flyers and Bisons in the regular season and had six points. He would also capture another three points in the playoffs with the Flyers.

Jack Langdon will make his Flyers debut this season after playing last year with the U18AA Foothills Bisons. Langdon suited up for the Foothills Bisons 30 times last season and posted three goals and nine total points.

The Flyers also announced that Quintus Mah is heading to Ontario to play in the SIJHL for the Red Lake Miners. The 18-year-old played 35 games with High River last season and accumulated 17 points.

Grayden Ewing will join Mah with the Miners as he committed to the team for the coming season. Ewing dressed for 30 games with the Flyers putting up 19 points with seven coming from goals.

The Flyers have also released their exhibition schedule with the first game against the Mountainview Colts being played at Didsbury Memorial Complex Arena on Sept. 6th at 8:00 pm.
