A show that was partially shot in High River has been nominated for 15 Emmy Awards.

As with seasons one through three, the fifth season of Fargo was shot in southern Alberta, including in High River, Didsbury, and Beiseker.

The anthology series, like the 1996 film it's based on, is set primarily in Minnesota, though the timeframe varies from season to season.

It's garnered 52 Emmy nominations since its premiere in 2014, and has won six. Below is a list of nominees for the 2024 Emmy Awards ceremony

The FX series not only showcases Southern Alberta locations, but talent as well.

The I.A.T.S.E. Local 212 Facebook page gave shoutouts to a handful of its members who contributed directly to elements of the show that received Emmy nods.

The 76th Annual Primetime Emmys are scheduled for Sept. 15, 2024.
