Marcel Wilfred Wourms
August 25, 1955 – July 12, 2024
Marcel passed away peacefully at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon on July 12, 2024. Marcel faced many challenges in his life, but took on each and every one with courage and an infectious smile, even until his very last day. His many gifts made him stand out from the crowd and he touched so many hearts along the way. Marcel was predeceased by is parents, Lawrence (1971) and Veronica (2024); and his brother-in-law, Wayne Nowlin (2019). Marcel is lovingly remembered by his sisters, Bernadette Nowlin, Edna Labrecque; and brother, Arnold (Lenore) Wourms. He is also remembered by his nieces and nephews, Jacqui Bourque, Connie (Steve) Moyls, Travis Wourms, Nathan (Katie) Wourms, Beau (Holly) Labrecque, Desiree (Jeff) Janzen; and numerous great-nieces and nephews along with many other relatives and friends. Marcel’s greatest wish was to be able to live at Sherbrooke Community Centre after he retired from working there for over 45 years. We are so very sorry that didn’t happen, Marcel. A celebration of Marcel’s life will be held on August 23, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home (210 Wess Road).
