Stephanie Ann Dosch
May 11, 1989 – July 19, 2024

It is with very heavy hearts that the family of Stephanie Ann (nee Hoppe) Dosch 35 years of Saskatoon announce her passing on Friday, July 19, 2024.  Stephanie was born on May 11, 1989 to Wayne and Michele (nee Seidel) Hoppe in Humboldt. She obtained all of her education in Bruno.  Stephanie was very athletic and active in a variety of sports.  She received the award for best defenceman in Broomball.

Her love was the farm and working side by side with her dad, especially in the hog barn.  Stephanie was always up for a challenge and drove many machineries on the farm even the combine. She was a great help during the busy times of harvest. Following grade 12, Stephanie enrolled in the Marvel Beauty College and received her Hair Stylist Certificate and began employment at Sunsera Salon in Saskatoon. This is where she met Devon Dosch and they began dating.

Unfortunately, on October 31, 2009, Stephanie and Devon were in a horrific car accident, which left Stephanie with a sever spinal injury.  Her life changed drastically in a short time, but with her strong determination and courage she moved forward in a very positive way.  On August 11, 2012 Stephanie and Devon were married in Saskatoon. Together they travelled to many destinations in the USA.  She visited and was involved at the Project Walk in California many times.  They spent a New Years Eve in New York watching the ball drop.  They also attended many baseball and basketball games in the USA.  Devon always made sure that Stephanie looked great when they were going out.  On December 11, 2016, Stephanie and Devon were blessed with a daughter Kynzlee who became her “Love Bug”!  Kynzlee kept Stephanie busy with her activities and she became a very hands-on mother. Her stubborn personality kept her challenging every step of her disability.

Stephanie was a very organized person and was always ready for everyone’s birthday with a card or present which was purchased long before the day.  She had a great relationship with all of her nieces and nephew and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them.  Her organizational skills were above and beyond anyone’s. Christmas presents were bought in the summer and wrapped up by fall.

Stephanie learned to live each day to it’s fullest and appreciated everyone in her life from her immediate family to all the caregivers, doctors, nurses, and therapists.  She left a footprint in everyone’s heart that she met.  Sunshine was her go to happy place. She loved spending time in the sun and her back yard.

Stephanie will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter Kynzlee Dosch; Parents: Wayne and Michele Hoppe; One brother and two sisters: Shane (Tricia) Hoppe and family Lexi and Lennox; Kimberly (Dustin) Folk and family Abigail and Isabelle; Hillary (Jonathon) Kochan and family Peyton, Hunter and Aria; Paternal grandfather Walter Hoppe of Humboldt; and numerous aunts, uncle, cousins, and many good friends. Stephanie was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Ben and Annavon Seidel; paternal grandmother Sylvia Hoppe; and her beloved dog “Peanut”.

A Celebration of Life Gathering was held on Wednesday, July 24,2024 at Bruno Community Hall from 1:30 – 4:00 p.m. A Private Family Interment was at St. Bruno R.C. Cemetery.  Memorial donations in Stephanie’s memory may be directed to Spinal Cord Injury of Saskatchewan or Trust for Kynzlee Dosch (c/o Kimberly Folk Box 345 Cudworth S0K 1B0).

“ALWAYS in our hearts, FOREVER in our memory.”
