The Corridor Community Gallery is seeking exhibition proposals from artists and groups representing diverse artistic practices and experience levels.
The gallery is an informal space located on the lower level of the Recreation Centre (4501 47A Avenue) and provides a venue for the public to view art by local artists.
The goals of the gallery are to support a variety of local artists, community groups, and individuals at all levels, encourage conversations about art, and help create an environment that highlights visual art.
The gallery accommodates two-dimensional artwork in nine exhibition frames that are secured to the wall in horizontal and portrait formats. There is also a display case that can accommodate small three-dimensional art pieces, including sculptures or ceramics.
Exhibition proposals will be considered based on suitability for the space.
Interested artists are asked to complete an application.
