Nash "Bash" Crowell picked up a home run in the game and scored five RBIs on the night. Spencer Sullivan also smashed a home run and added four RBIs on the night. Logan Grant was unstoppable as he hit five times in six at-bats and got a home run against the Red Sox.

Veteran and 2024 WCBL All-Star Grham Brunner started on the mound, pitching for four full innings. Ryan McFarland, Cade Herrmann, Aaron Hammer, and Trey Mackwood came in as relievers.

Jarrett Burney opened the scoring with a single to left field, getting Brendan Luther in for the game's first run. Grant and Alejandro Cazorla got the other two runs thanks to Crowell's single to left field.

Regina took a one-run lead at the bottom of the second but the Dawgs answered with another three runs at the top of the third to take a 6-4 lead.

Grant started things off at the top of the third getting his second home run to start an inning in as many games tying the game up. Caleb Lumbard picked up two RBIs shortly after getting both Burney and Connor Crowson across home plate with a double.

In the fourth the Dawgs and Red Sox would trade a run each. Grant continued his hot hand at-bat and hit a triple to get into a prime scoring position. Burney then got a put-out but was able to score Grant in for the run in the process.

The fifth inning was all Okotoks as they scored a total of seven runs to take a commanding 14-5 lead. With Lumbard and Crowell already on base, Sullivan stepped up to the plate and smashed a home run early in the inning. Grant would then hit a single to right field getting both Brendan Luther and Dawson Santana in for runs.

The Dawgs added three more runs at the top of the seventh. Cazorla got the first run of the inning and then Crowell hit a home run scoring Crowson and himself in for runs to take a 17-5 lead.

The Red Sox added two runs at the bottom of the seventh to try and make things a little more interesting.

Okotoks responded at the top of the ninth with two runs. Jason Arriola and Crowson got the two runs in the inning. Red Sox added a single run at the bottom of the ninth but it wasn't nearly enough to get past the Dawgs.

The Saskatchewan road trip continues for the Dawgs who have won all three games so far on the trip tomorrow when they face the Red Sox for their second of back-to-back games in Regina at 7:05 pm.
