Larry Kosokowsky
January 30, 1954 — July 2, 2024

Larry Anthony Kosokowsky, 70, passed away from a cardiac event at his home in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, on July 2nd, 2024. Born on January 30th in Humboldt, Saskatchewan, Larry was the son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Kosokowsky.

He is survived by his children, Roanne (Geordie) and Gwyndolin, and his beloved grandchildren: Aurelia, Tashi, Saoirse, and Daveed. He also leaves behind his siblings, Wayne (Nancy), Myrna Cormier (James), Laura, and Lynn (Leyone), as well as many cherished nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, brother Armand, and son Ryan.

Larry helped out with the family farm and worked in sheet metal, construction, cabinet making, upholstery, and janitorial duties at Wal-Mart. He was passionate about music and, in his earlier years, played with several bands, mostly with Graham Bell. Larry enjoyed cars, woodworking, watching sports, cooking, going to the farmers market, and playing pool. He loved visiting family and spending time with his children and grandchildren, and he could often be found providing the soundtrack for every family gathering.

Despite living with Crohn's disease for many years, Larry maintained his strength and sense of humor. A funeral service will be held on September 21st, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Saskatoon Funeral Home, with the burial at Carmel Cemetery on September 22nd.

Larry will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
