The 18U AA East Central Red Sox finished off their season in the best way possible, winning the 2024 18U AA Tier 2 Provincial Championship in Saskatoon.
On Friday afternoon, the Red Sox outlasted the Regina Pacers 16-15 in a high scoring affair.
In their second game on Saturday, the Red Sox were shutout by the Saskatoon Blue Jays 7-0.
On the final day, the Red Sox rattled off three straight wins on their way to the championship. They began the day with an 11-7 win over the Saskatoon A’s.
In the semi-finals, the Red Sox crushed the Regina Buffaloes 17-3, punching their ticket to the gold medal game.
The Red Sox wrapped the tournament on a strong note, defeating the Lumsden Cubs 10-4, claiming the provincial title.
