At the end of June, Tatagwa Kidz Care received one of the Weyburn Credit Union Community Fund Grants. Cora Lynn Sexton, the executive director at Tatagwa Kidz Care, says the $4000 grant will go toward improvements in their toddler room.

“The funds are going to go towards a portable sink in our toddler area, because we have done some revamping to our learning environments, and the toddler area just didn't have access to proper hand washing. And then also hopefully with some more new lower shelving.
Sexton says it will be a great asset to their centre as it will make handwashing more accessible throughout the day without having to leave anything behind.
“Especially with the younger toddler age group, it makes it a little bit more inconvenient to always go a distance to the washroom to wash.”
Sexton says they are very grateful for the grant and that it will bring many benefits to their facility.
