The Stanley Public Works crews have been working relentlessly to repair damaged sites in the RM of Stanley affected by rainfalls that took place earlier in July.
According to Ike Friesen - Reeve of the RM of Stanley – approximately 150 sites were affected in some way, including damaged drainage culverts, road wash-overs, and washouts.
An application has been submitted for Disaster Financial Assistance to help alleviate the cost of repair to the damage done to roadways and drainage infrastructure. Farmers, small businesses, and private residents are encouraged to apply if there was any damage done to their properties due to the heavy rains that happened earlier in the month.
