Okotokians coming through for wildfire victims

The Alberta Day of Caring for Jasper was held on Wednesday, July 31, and Okotokians did not hold back.

From 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., locals brought in a steady supply of bottle donations to support wildfire victims through the Red Cross.

Monetary donations were also made on our website and by texting the word RADIO (all caps) to 20222.

As of 5:45 p.m. Albertans have raised $518,482. With matching from the federal and provincial government, that totals $1,555,446!
