Kingston Besuijen and Preston Tocheniuk have been named to Team Alberta for the 2024 Canada Cup.
Both Tocheniuk and Besuijen currently are with the Okotoks Dawgs Academy with Tocheniuk's brother Quinn playing for the Okotoks Dawgs of the WCBL.
Besuijen stands at 6'2 and is a right-handed pitcher, while Tocheniuk is a 6'4 right-handed pitcher. Tocheniuk has played two innings for the WCBL Dawgs squad posting two strikeouts and only allowing one hit.
Team Alberta will face Team Manitoba for their first matchup at the Canada Cup on August 7 in Fort McMurray. Game time is set for 7:00 pm.
