A very popular summer event is coming back to Sylvan Lake.
JAWS at the Lake returns tonight, Saturday August 10th, with free fun for the whole family. (Parental guidance is suggested for the movie)
There are two ways to enjoy this movie. Either on the grass at Lakefront Park, located at Lakeshore Drive and 52 Street or on your favourite floatable device in the lake!
Please note that lifeguards are not onsite so please exercise caution. Lifejackets are recommended for younger or weaker swimmers. Children must be supervised at all times.
This year's movie is Deep Blue Sea. The movie contains scenes of violence, so it is not recommended for younger kids.
There will be pre-show family activities and games starting at 7 pm. The Central Alberta Pride Society will be hosting a BBQ and concession on site.
The movie will begin at dusk around 9:30 pm.
