'Market at the Park' making its debut this Sunday

The Weyburn Therapeutic Animal Park will be hosting the first of what they hope will be many 'Market at the Park' events on August 4th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

"We would like to invite vendors and the public to come and just have a fun day at the park. This is something new we're trying just to bring the community out more to the park and have some fun," shared Secretary-Treasurer Janel Stang.

She said they got a taste of the market atmosphere during their season opener on June 2nd.

"Houligan Acres are going to be there, as well as a lot of other vendors."

Stang said in addition to the animals, they will have some games set up for the whole family to enjoy.

A barbecue will be on site for the event, as well as other food vendors including Meok Ja, and the General Store will be bringing Italian Sodas.

"So if you're hungry and looking for something to do with the family, please come join us."
