The Weyburn Police Service was called early Thursday morning last week to deal with someone making a scene at a residence.
Constable Dallas Austin said the occupant reported that someone was yelling and banging on the door.
"That individual was arrested and charged with numerous offenses of uttering threats, of uttering threats of property, and then charged with mischief to property," he said.
The person was also charged with resisting arrest.
He said threatening property can include threatening to burn the building down or cause damage of any sort.
"That kind of thing is still pretty serious. It may not be uttering threats against somebody else, but it's someone else's property. So you need to take it just as serious."
The charges were laid under the Criminal Code of Canada.
