The Weyburn Humane Society is gearing up for its annual garage sale, this Thursday, August 8th, and Friday, August 9th.
Board member Clarissa Welsh said instead of at their usual venue, they'll be holding it at one of their volunteer's homes, located at 56 10th Street.
"There's going to be lots of fun and cool stuff," she shared. "Everything's there by donation. Anything from furniture to knickknacks and maybe some gizmos."
Welsh said the funds go toward their general operating fund.
"We operate largely on donations from the community. We have a lot of costs, especially with food, vet, and our paid staff. It always goes up and up and up and we just need those things to keep us running," she shared.
Welsh expressed gratitude on the generosity of the community.
"It's fantastic just how the community can come out and support us through their donations, through donating to things like this, donating their time, their efforts participating in our fundraisers and everything else. It's just fantabulous to be part of such an amazing community."
