A new crosswalk is coming to Okotoks next week.
Volker Stevin crews will be working on behalf of Anthem Properties and will be painting the crosswalk along Northridge Drive, between D'Arcy Crossing and Wedderburn developments.
As long as the weather cooperates, the work will be completed overnight, between 7 p.m. on Sunday, August 11th, and 5 a.m. on Monday, August 12th.
Minimal construction noise and minor traffic delays are expected, as there will be alternating single-lane closures in both the North and South directions of Northridge Drive.
The Town is reminding everyone to use caution and keep an eye out for signage, equipment, and crews while in the area.
