Registration for community programs in Okotoks has opened as of August 8th.
It's currently only open for residents of Okotoks and Foothills County.
The Town of Okotoks offers numerous programs that work for all demographic groups, including educational, recreational, creative, cultural, and leisure learning programs.
There's a variety of youth programs such as Youth Rec Skate, Youth Volleyball, and Parent and Tot Yoga in the Gallery for kids, as well as adult programs such as Introduction to Pilates, Adulty Learn to Skate, Pickleball, and more.
While there is a fee to attend these programs, the Town of Okotoks does offer a Recreation Fee Assistance for residents.
Under this program, anyone from the age of three months and older are eligible for assistance in covering the cost of the programs.
Those who qualify for the assistance will receive up to 80 per cent off of most Town of Okotoks programs, recreation centre passes, and admission.
Non-Foothills residents are able to register for these programs as of 8 a.m. on August 15th.
