The Wee Burn, located at the top of Signal Hill, known as Heritage Village, will be filled with people, activities, and live music today and tomorrow.

Kicking off with the national anthem and flag ceremony from the Weyburn Legion's Colour Guard this morning, the event will be an opportunity for members of the community and area to tour the historical village, take in demonstrations, fire truck rides, and enjoy some burgers or Harvest Pie from the concession.

Tour Coordinator Rio Lopez said while there will be a bake sale in the village office, run by volunteers, this year the silent auction will be replaced with a couple of raffles.

Other changes to this year's Heritage Village Days includes live music only today, and the scavenger hunt only tomorrow afternoon.

As for volunteers, he said, "We have basically all of our houses filled. We're still looking for a couple of people on the barbecue, but that's about it."

Music performances include Robin Jones from 1 to 2 p.m., De Tricky Feet Dance Studio from 2:30 to 3:30, and from 3:30 to 4:30, a performance by James Dionne / JP Harmony.
