The Estevan Police Service reported that a 26-year-old Estevan man is facing new charges relating to a previous investigation of sexual offences against a minor.
In a police report, EPS noted that a search warrant was executed in his home after a new investigation. Numerous charges have been laid and the alleged was taken into custody pending an appearance in court.

EPS members also responded to a call about a 64-year-old woman who was experiencing mental health concerns. Members were able to create a plan with the woman to speak with a mental health professional.
Police were dispatched to a disturbance on the 1300 block of 7th Street, where a 38-year-old woman was assaulted by another unknown woman who fled the scene on a bicycle. EPS is looking into the matter.
With the closure of the majority of 4th Street due to ongoing construction, the Estevan Police Service is urging the public to obey all traffic signs. EPS said that they issued a violation ticket and several warnings for not obeying a stop sign at the intersection of 14th Avenue and 3rd Street.
A 21-year-old was lodged in cells Wednesday after police responded to a domestic argument on 2nd Street. The man was arrested for breaching conditions.
