Saturday, August 10th, 2024, at the Winkler Harvest Festival was a night of unforgettable music and community spirit. The evening's entertainment lineup featured a mix of rising stars, creating an atmosphere of excitement and celebration.
"We have the best volunteers and amazing board... it flows so well, everyone has there role and has been doing it for years," said Karina Bueckert, festival coordinator.
The day kicked off with the Harvest Festival parade in the morning. Families lined the sidewalks, waving and cheering as the parade passed by, setting the perfect tone for the day's festival.
The evening started with a performance by local favourite Emma Peterson, who captivated the audience with her heartfelt vocals and charming presence. Following her, Water & Wood took the stage at 7:15 PM, delivering a soulful mix of folk and country songs, with the crowd singing to every tune.
The night's highlight was Chayce Beckham, the American Idol winner who has been making waves in the country music scene. Taking the stage at Beckham brought his unique blend of country, rock, and heartfelt storytelling to Winkler. Beckham showcased why he's becoming a household name. His performance, filled with emotion and powerful vocals, left a lasting impression on the crowd, making it a night to remember at the Winkler Harvest Festival.
