Rae Croteau Jr won this year's Battle of the North in Dawson Creek, B.C. on Sunday.

High River's Jason Glass made the final four $30,000 dash for cash but fell short coming in fourth place in one sizzling fast championship heat.

Glass lead the aggregate going into the final day of racing, so he does pick up a one-year lease of a GMC Truck from Banister GM Dawson Creek.

But it was Croteau's night as he finished in a time of 1:16.58 to pick up his second consecutive Championship in Dawson Creek.

The wagons now head to Rocky Mountain House for the Battle of the Rockies starting this Thursday.

It's the final WPCA event of the season before the WPCA World Chuckwagon Finals take over Ponoka from August 28 till September 1.
