The Estevan Police Service responded to several calls on Monday, including a fire complaint and a report of a domestic disturbance.

Police responded to a complaint about a neighbour starting a fire in their yard that began spreading into the complainant's yard. Both parties were spoken to, and the file was forwarded to bylaw enforcement and Estevan Fire & Rescue for follow-up.

A report of a domestic disturbance was received involving a woman in a blue truck who was screaming and trying to jump out. Police were given a description and direction of travel, but no license plate number was obtained. Officers patrolled the area but were unable to locate the vehicle. The RCMP was also notified.

Members responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle entering Veterans Park during the night. Upon investigation, it was found that someone had been injured and was unable to walk, with the vehicle transporting them from the scene.

EPS also responded to an assault at a residence on the east side of the city, which remains under investigation. A complaint of fraud was received, with the investigation ongoing as the complainant provided a statement on the matter.
