During Monday's meeting of Weyburn City Council, Mayor Marcel Roy said, throughout her four and a half years, Wilkinson made a strong contribution to steady improvements within the City.
"We've seen a lot of infrastructure reclassified and redone and things that should have been taken care of years ago have been done now."
Roy, along with other Councillors during the meeting, noted that Wilkinson made it easy for the public to understand some of the complex aspects of the various projects under her direction.
"She's done a very good job of working with the engineering companies because then they can get very particular, and she's been able to write the RFPs very well so that we are getting proper costs," he noted.
Along with many kind words, Wilkinson was also presented with cupcakes during the Council meeting.
