A few RCMP detachments teamed up earlier this week to execute a search warrant for a man who had a number of charges against him.

On August 11, a search warrant was executed at a residence in the community of Oxbow.

The team was made up of members of the Carnduff, Estevan, and Carlyle RCMP Detachments, the F Division Critical Incident Response Team, Carlyle Combined Traffic Services Saskatchewan, and Estevan Police Service.

From the warrant, 60-year-old Timothy Irwin of Oxbow has been charged with:

  • 4 counts of sexual assault
  • 4 counts of administering a noxious substance
  • 1 count of possession for the purpose of trafficking (Methamphetamine)
  • 1 count of possessing a substance (Crystal Meth)
  • 1 count of unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon (brass knuckles)

Irwin appeared in Estevan Provincial Court on August 12, 2024. Further information on the court case is not yet available.

The Saskatchewan RCMP General Investigation Section is continuing the investigation into these charges.
