A post on X from August 16th showed a rather ironic typo on a painted school zone notice in Okotoks.
Instead of 'School Zone', crews accidentally painted 'Scohol Zone'.
The post has been viewed over 100,000 times on X, with almost 100 replies on the original post.
It's also been shared in a few Foothills area Facebook groups.
According to the Town of Okotoks, the crews were in a bit of a rush to finish the work and allow traffic to continue as normal.
Once they realized their mistake, they immediately made the correction.
They also took a lap around town to spellcheck the rest of them.
