Boil Water Advisory lifted for Altona

A boil water advisory for the Town of Altona has been lifted. 

The order was issued late Tuesday afternoon after a potable water sample came back positive for coliform.

A subsequent sample was sent to the lab, and the results have since come back indicating the water system has met all conditions for the advisory to be lifted and that bacteriological testing results meet regulatory standards.

Regular water use may now resume.
