The MD of Willow Creek has downgraded its Fire Ban to a Fire Restriction.
Recent rain has lowered the risk of grassfires in the region, and the MD announced the change on Friday morning.
Under a Fire Restriction, no permits are issued, but some burning is allowed.
Burn barrels and incinerators are permitted, as are recreational campfires.
The towns of Fort Macleod and Stavely also had their Fire Bans lifted.
Willow Creek MD is reminding people to stay up to date with current fire restrictions, as a Fire Ban can be reinstated with no notice.
