Local artisans are getting the opportunity to show off their stuff at the Market on the Farm this upcoming weekend.
The event organizer, Alissa Bjorn, is always excited to put these on for the community. The next Market on the Farm will be held on August 24th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
She says Market on the Farm is unique in many ways.
"Our heart is to create a space where community can happen." She continues, "We will have vendors of all different ages. We have everyone from six years old to beyond sixty. They're passionate about things they love to make and create a space where the community can support each other, hang out, and have a lot of fun."
Bjorn says that the feedback from the previous Market on the Farms has been fantastic, noting that these are exactly what the community needs.
"I get so many messages saying 'thank you, That was the highlight of my month. I can't believe this is happening near Weyburn, and we get to come."
Those who attend the Market on the Farm can enjoy some fantastic live music and delicious food from local people who love the Market on the Farm.
"If you want somewhere, you can just enjoy the beauty, music, and community. What I would say is I guarantee a smile and feeling just a spark in your heart and bit."
They are also seeking additional vendors. Interested parties can contact Bjorn through the Weyburn Market on the Farm Facebook page.
The Market will be held just three minutes outside of Weyburn. Visitors can find it by heading west on Highway 39 towards Yellow Grass, turning right at the Canadian flagS.
