Gallery: Wild Rose Carnival was a success in its second year

The Wild Rose Carnival held its second annual event this past weekend with rides for kids, carnival food, and even a free Hard Kastle FMX freestyle show.

Friday made things a little difficult due to the rainy weather, but the sun decided to shine on Saturday and Sunday.

Andrea Blake, a teacher at Senator Riley Middle School, brought out her two young kids and explained why she enjoys the Wild Rose Carnival.

"I was here last year. It's very similar, there are a lot of the same rides. It's good value, rather than having to go to Calaway Park and having to haul the kids there. It's nice to be able to stay in High River and to be able to do fun little things like this," Blake said.
