There will be a new addition to the Corn and Apple Festival in downtown Morden this weekend. Organized by Trent Medynski, a flea market will take place from August 23rd to 25th at the Royal Canadian Legion (Branch #11) hall, offering a diverse range of vendors and goods.

"We've got about 7 vendors coming out from various places," Medynski said. "We have some locals, and we have somebody as far as Russell coming. We’re open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with free entry, so come down, cool off, and enjoy the market."

Shoppers can expect a wide array of items, from vintage clothing to retro toys, Pokémon cards, antiques, 3D-printed figures, and more. “There's going to be really something for everybody," said Medynski. "Whether you're into vintage fashion, music, or just looking for unique items, you'll find something you love."

The flea market aims to complement the Corn and Apple Festival by offering a space for secondhand and vintage lovers to find rare and interesting items. "I love thrift stores and secondhand items," Medynski shared. "The festival is great, but I wanted to create a space for people like myself, who are into unique, older things."

With air conditioning, wheelchair and stroller accessibility, and free admission, the flea market promises to be a must-visit spot during the festival weekend.

Stop by the Royal Canadian Legion at 285 N Railway Street to explore the wide variety of treasures waiting to be found, conveniently located just a block south of Stephen Street, right behind Marathon Pizza. The hours are Friday from 11 AM to 7 PM, Saturday from 10 AM to 7 PM, and Sunday from 11 AM to 4 PM.
