SHARON ANN WELDON

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sharon Ann Weldon after a short, courageous battle with cancer.  Sharon passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 17th, 2024, with both sons at her side.

Sharon was born April 13th, 1945, in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan to Helen and Bill Weldon and was predeceased by her sister, Lorraine (Bud) Crobar and her loving parents.  Sharon is survived by her sister, Carol (Emile) St Amand; loving sons, Michael (Ana) Weldon and Ryan Weldon; her two grandchildren, Sabine Davitt-Weldon and Marit Elena Davitt-Weldon; and nieces and nephews: Lisa (Don) Anderson, Tim (Michelle) St Amand, Chris (Jennifer) St Amand, Rob (Jeanette) Crobar, Karen (Martin) Boutkan, Maureen (Steve) Risling, and Laurie (Al) Jacobs.  All of these she loved and touched deeply.

Sharon lived a life full of passion, joy and steadfast commitment to her family and loved ones.  Sharon enjoyed time in her yard and garden, collecting antiques, and could never turn down a good puzzle.  Forever curious, Sharon was endlessly learning and was eager to pass along her findings and experiences to others.  She adored her grandchildren and embraced every moment to be with them.

The love and memories she leaves will forever be in our hearts, and her legacy will live on in all those lucky enough to know her.

A Private Family Service will be held at a later date to honour Sharon.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Sharon’s name may be made to the Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan, 200-4545 Parliament Ave, Regina, SK S4W 0G3.

Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Gary McDowell, Funeral Director 306-693-4550 www.moosejawfuneralhome.com
