Traffic disruptions on Thornburn Avenue start today

Red Deer motorists are advised of a road closure on Thorburn Avenue beginning today (Aug. 21).   

Until Sept. 3, the northbound lane of Thorburn Avenue will be closed from Townsend Street to Township Road 384.   

Traffic will be detoured along 67 Street and Townsend Street.   

Access to the commercial area will be available via the southbound lane of Thorburn Avenue.  

Drivers are advised to obey all signs, follow detour signage, and are reminded to slow down when approaching the area.
