Many crews are trying to wrap up construction projects on Central Alberta area highways. (Weather permitting).
Here are some of the planned areas where drivers may experience delays. Also make sure you are slowing down when passing workers in these zones.
Hwy12 at the QEII overpass near Lacombe, spray patching for 500m on both sides of the overpass, from 8:30am-5pm. One-lane alternating traffic in effect.
NB & SB Hwy781 between Hwy11 & Hwy54, south of Sylvan Lake, line painting, from 12pm to 6pm. Expect a rolling lane closure with a slow-moving vehicle.
NB & SB Hwy20 between Hwy11 & Hwy12, near Sylvan Lake, line painting, from 8am until 6pm. Expect a rolling lane closure with a slow-moving vehicle.
NB & SB Hwy2A between Red Deer and Lacombe, line painting, Aug.22 from 8am to 6pm. Expect a rolling lane closure with slow moving vehicle.
