There are plenty of options for things to do this weekend in Weyburn, many with inclusive opportunities for attendees.
Those who have never arm wrestled, those who maybe happen to know they're great at it, or even those who just enjoy a good competition, can check out the Arm Wars event coming to the Weyburn Legion this Saturday. Weigh-ins begin this evening, with the competition taking place starting at 1 p.m. tomorrow.

Did you purchase your ticket yet for the Weyburn Humane Society's vehicle raffle? The Ride for Paws fundraiser will see one lucky winner this Saturday afternoon. Tickets will be on sale until 10 a.m. on Saturday, with the draw being made at 1 p.m. at Barber Motors.

The final Stronger Together Community Potluck will be held at Knox Hall on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., featuring live music and enough food for 100 people, made by volunteers, with no obligation for attendees to bring a dish.

The fourth Weyburn Market on the Farm will be held this Saturday with a new time, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will feature live music from Jacquie Walbaum, food vendors, and goods available for sale.

The Weyburn Wildlife Federation will be hosting the first-ever Family Day event on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. While the event is free to attend, registration is requested so they know how many to expect for the various activities, and there will be food available for purchase.

If you just want to stay home, but you did happen to attend the 115th annual Weyburn Fair Days in July, you can provide the board of the Weyburn Agricultural Society with some feedback.

Sunday is the last day for swimming in the outdoor pool at the Weyburn Leisure Centre. The pool will be closed until Monday, September 9th, when it reopens for indoor swimming. Registration opens up on Tuesday, September 10th for swimming lessons and other activities found in the City of Weyburn's Fall & Winter Leisure Guide.

Swimming is, however, an option once again at Nickle Lake Regional Park, where the beach has been reopened after the No Swimming advisory was rescinded this week.
