Friday morning started with a rear-ender in Winkler   

According to Winkler Police Chief Ryan Hunt emergency crews responded to a report of an accident at 9 this morning. Police and fire crews attended the accident at the intersection of Highway #14 and 15th street.  

Hunt stated, "An eastbound pickup truck towing a boat on a trailer was stopped in traffic on Highway #14. When traffic started to move again the pickup truck moved along with it but when traffic stopped again another eastbound vehicle was unable to stop in time and ran into the back of the boat and trailer causing damage to both vehicles." 

No injuries were reported, and the second vehicle was towed from the scene.
