The Cochrane & District Chamber of Commerce has announced Jennifer Wanner as its new Executive Director.
Over the past three years, Wanner has made a significant impact on the Cochrane business community as an Account Manager with 91.5 CochraneNow.
The local mom of three says she plans to transfer the skills she's acquired over the last several years to her new role.
"Since moving here I've been working for CochraneNow as an Account Manager. I feel like I've been working for the business community in Cochrane for the last three years, and I'm just really excited to be able to continue working for the business community in just a different capacity."
Wanner has left a significant mark on the Cochrane business community during her time here.
"One thing that I love most about the business community here in Cochrane is the grit and passion that all of these entrepreneurs have. So my number one goal coming into this role is going to be growing the membership of the Chamber of Commerce and really helping to increase engagement amongst the members."
Her career reflects her deep passion for local businesses and community involvement. She excels at building connections with local businesses, nurturing strong relationships, and championing the growth and success of the Cochrane business community.
The position was left vacant in April after the passing of Kelly Carson.
Wanner will assume the role as Executive Director on Sept. 3.
