The Holy Trinity Academy (HTA) Knights football team put on a clinic against Grande Prairie's St. Joseph Catholic High School Celtics with a 41-7 win on Friday (August 23).

The Knights ran away with the game, quite literally, as they put up an astonishing 418 rushing yards. HTA almost doubled St. Joseph's total yards as they came away with 465 to Grande Prairie's 250.

HTA finished with three conversions out of four on third down and didn't give up a single turnover in the game.

The game was played at Tarus Field in Fort Saskatchewan.

Okotoks' Knights will now travel to the sunny State of California to play the Coronado High School Islanders at their home field in San Diego on Friday (August 30th) in their second exhibition match of the pre-season. HTA will arrive in the Golden State on Thursday, then will have the junior squad play at 5:00 pm followed by the senior's game at 7:00 pm on Friday.
