Howard helped his dad on the farm until he was 16, he then began his career in the trucking industry. When he was younger, he loved to trap muskrats and beavers to obtain funds to purchase snowmobiles. Racing was in his blood as a very young child, he loved the excitement of racing motocross, street bikes and sleds. Howard later enjoyed hockey and golfing.

In 1984, he was blessed with a daughter Morgan while living in Saskatoon. Later Howard ventured out to B.C. where he continued trucking. It was while he was in B.C. he was blessed with a son Jordon in 1992.

Later Howard returned to Saskatchewan and worked with his brother-in-law Jerry Rush at IFI, hauling feed. He continued to enjoy snowmobiling and golfing.

Howard loved music of all kinds, especially “Rock n Roll.” He had a very large collection of LP’s. Howard became very close to a group of friends that gave him much peace and serenity. His spiritual journey returned him to the Lord, and on August 18, 2024, he was Baptized.
