The Bruno Merchants are competing in the 2024 National Mens Fast Pitch Championships in Saskatoon at the Gordie Howe Complex this week.
Bruno's record at the tournament dropped to 0-2 on Thursday afternoon following a 16-0 loss to the Bear Creek Express.
The Merchants will play their second game of the day at 4:30 against the Grande Prairie Pirates. With a rainout to their game on Wednesday night against the Toronto Batmen, Bruno will now play three games on Friday. They will play Toronto in a makeup game at 9:00 am, then they will meet Newfoundland's Physio at 2:30 and to wrap up the day they will square off with the Galway Hitmen at 6:30.
Playoffs begin on Saturday with the top eight teams from the round robin.
The Championship final is Sunday at 2:30
