Maskwacis local, Russetta Burnstick, was left “completely speechless”, after winning $100,000.
Burnstick purchased the Lighting Lotto and Extra ticket for the June 24 draw and was thrilled to see she had won six figures.
“I scanned it in the store and then had the cashier check it for me,” she said. “I was just completely speechless; I spent the last of my spare change on that purchase!”
Burnstick plans to put the winnings towards her education.
“I would like to do some upgrading programs to further my employment. I also want to take a trip with my kids, do some home renovations, and maybe even upgrade my vehicle,” she said. “It just feels overwhelming and really good all at the same time.”
The winning extra was purchased from the Pigeon Lake Petro Canada.
