Man involved in Thursday crash picked up by Cochrane RCMP

The search for a man following a crash that saw an SUV flip on its side in Cochrane yesterday has come to an end. 

Cochrane RCMP responded to a collision near the new bridge construction site on highway 22, which involved two vehicles on Thursday afternoon.

No one was injured. 

Police say a SUV was traveling southbound when it crossed into the northbound lane, colliding with a van. Shortly after the crash, a man fled the scene but was quickly arrested by officers on nearby Glenbow Drive.

The RCMP then used a police dog and a drone to search for another man in the area. 

Police report the second man was located and arrested last night.
