The Cochrane Activettes want to make sure no one is watching the parade on an empty stomach.
The non-profit group is hosting its annual pancake breakfast on Monday morning ahead of the Labour Day Parade.
Sue Lunnin, president says it's their way of saying thank you for all of the support the community gives them.
"It's just a way for the Activettes to be giving back to the community as appreciation for all of the incredible continued support for the Activettes throughout the year. "
They're hoping for a big crowd, says Lunnin.
"We will be prepared for about 1000 people coming, that's our goal. We'll have sausages, pancakes, coffee, hot chocolate and juice for the kids."
The breakfast goes from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Monday morning in the old Rexal parking lot at 305 1 St. W.
There is a suggested $10 per family or $3 per person donation to the food bank at the pancake breakfast.
Event goers are encouraged to bring their own plates and utensils to help cut down on waste.
