Eagles entertain Marauders in preseason game between top teams in province

Darold Kot Field was the scene of one of the most-anticipated football games of the season, and it was only a pre-season matchup. The Miller Marauders from Regina were in town to take on the WCS Eagles, a game between not only the top two 12-man football teams in the province, winning the championships in their respective divisions, but between two of the top ranked teams in the nation. 

While the Eagles did have home-field advantage, the Marauders would come out hard, and put up a lot of points early. They would hold on to top the Eagles 30-7.
