Bear attack north of Cochrane sends one person to hospital

An adult was seriously injured during a bear attack north of Cochrane Sunday morning. 

It happened around 10:20 a.m. northeast of the intersection of Township Road 275 and Range Road 35, south of Dogpound. 

The victim was taken to Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary.

There's no word on the extent of the person's injuries. 

No one else was injured. 

Alberta Fish and Wildlife and RCMP were on scene.
